Who is behind StartupsNews?
This website is put together by Laurent Kretz, founder of CabEasy, a website that helps taxi users share cab rides.
Laurent is a (less than…) passive member of the NextNY community since 2005 and passionate about the local New York startup and tech scene. He loves to get updates from the local startups but those updates sometimes struggle to get noticed by major tech blogs.
Growing frustrated not having a central place to get updates of only local startups, he put together StartupsNews.com, a user-generated news destination dedicated to startups.
